This is just amazing! AMAZING! Not only is Brown SugarRestaurant providing a Gluten Free Buffet on a Friday, the menu is based on Barbadian food. This is just perfect, gluten free and keeping it authentic! I am just beyond delighted! They even understand what gluten is and the intolerance that many people have for it. Well done, Brown Sugar, well done! A big round of applause for the Head Chef Madalyn Foster! We need more of you on the island!

One of my favourite gluten free flours is coconut flour which is easily purchased in Barbados. Although you need a microwave for this I have not yet tried to see if it can be baked. Since coconut flour is high in fibre, this will be very filling as well as tasty. You could add other ingredients to the cheese too, some ham or tomatoes. Yummy!
Daphne’s is a Fine Dining restaurant and is the chic Caribbean outpost of the famed London eatery of the same name, with chef Marco Festini Cromer whipping up contemporary Italian cuisine. Chef Marco Festini Cromer’s approach to cooking is to use fresh ingredients always in order to make the most mouth-watering dishes. Theme nights add variety to the menu, and guests with a gluten intolerance will be happy to learn that a gluten free menu exists. Daphne’s Restaurant specializes in Seafood with Italian twists.
Daphne’s Restaurant is on the ocean, located on Paynes Bay, St James on the West side of the island.
